Having opened its doors in 2010, Angels with Bagpipes quickly established itself as one of the finest restaurants to have graced Edinburgh’s most iconic and historic street, The Royal Mile. With upmost pride in sourcing fresh Scottish ingredients.
Mixing an atmospheric Old Town setting with chic, contemporary looks, the restaurant reflects many of the city’s most defining features. With a humble facade nestled in the beautiful 17th century building, rich tones of bronze and marble cascade throughout the two tiers of Angels with Bagpipes.

    The Chanters Dining Room at Angels with Bagpipes offers a bright and intimate private dining space tucked just away from the main restaurant. Overlooking the courtyard, the room benefits from plenty of natural light and a relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for small gatherings, business lunches, celebrations, or private dinners. The space features two large tables and provides a more exclusive setting while still enjoying the character and hospitality of the restaurant. Its separation from the main dining room allows guests to enjoy a quieter and more personal experience. Please note that, due to the historic nature of the building, there are currently no accessible toilet facilities available within this area.

                                              Super vriendelijk dame welke ons serveerde. Kleine kaart met erg smaakvolle gerechten welke goed zijn om te delen. Oesters waren een aanrader. Locatie meer dan perfect.

                                              Lucy was a great server. All staff were accommodating. We were originally sat beside a very loud table and were accommodated to move. It was at a high top but it was better and quieter. Food was quick, tasty and it was a nice anniversary dinner.

                                              Absolutely fantastic. There were 6 of us. We started with mushroom pate, beef tartar and simply yummy and fresh oysters. Then we had steaks and the pork chop. All of the food was delicious. The service was lovely. Everyone that attended us were so nice and efficient. We were so glad we went. Our best meal so far in Edinburgh.
