We went to Ashas as we had a gift of the tasting menu with wine flight. The food was fabulous with lovely flavours and although smaller portions from the main menu, by the time we had finished 6 courses we were nicely full. The wine flights were also nice with 4 white, 1 red and a rose and all perfectly drinkable. We will come back again but next time we would have from the main menu as we would like to choose our food. Staff were all very pleasant and nice surroundings.

Lovely tasty meal. We were seated at the back of restaurant in a corner so felt a bit removed. Also no acknowledgement of 60th birthday celebration. Also did not appreciate trying to charged £4.50 for tap water which was very disappointing and devious. Overall a bit disappointing

I was really looking forward to spending Mothers days and my sisters birthday at this restaurant and it was a huge disappointment. Even though the Indian Sunday Roasts are on the menu we was informed when we got there they don’t do them anymore . The food in general was really poor for such a high standard restaurant, i got the full lobster and it had no meat hardly, the lamb tasted like Beef my sisters and Mum are positive it was Beef not lamb . I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

The Asha’s chain is a reputable brand; however, the Manchester branch is a huge let down in comparison to other branches across the country. All our dishes tasted of pure ghee & oil, albeit the food tasting mediocre for the 50 minutes we waited to get it. In comparison to the Birmingham branch, Manchester is a huge downgrade to the quality, ambience and experience you get. The food quality is incomparable. I’m not sure if it’s the chef slacking as we went on a Monday, or just that the food was rushed as it was short staffed, but to have food that all taste of ghee/oil just shows how rushed and lack of care/quality went into the food. I don’t normally write reviews but this is one experience I had to mention.

A little variable this time, having been several times before. Good that they were playing Asha soundtrack, for the first time in my experience. Kebab platter was disappointing, seekh kebabs undersalted and over spicy, others just ok. Lamb in Muscat Gosht was delightfully tender and sauce tasty; daal makhani was over sauced with tomato flavour, but pleasantly creamy; salmon and coconut curry was decent enough. Vishnu’s service was friendly and prompt given that it was a busy Saturday evening. Service otherwise was good by British standards, but not a patch on the level of service you get in India where they genuinely serve your food for you, and check that you are satisfied, rather than merely bring it to the table. But that’s just the difference in service standard that reflects the differing expectations in the two countries, rather than something specific to Asha’s

Food was lovely but cannot say its value for money and service very average. Main course brought out without starter plates having been cleared away. Bill brought at the end and table not cleared before we left. No one in the restaurant was available for us to thank and say goodbye to. Ambience was average. Restaurant was mostly empty on a Thursday evening at 8pm. Restaurant was freezing cold throughout. Front desk staff were very friendly on arrival and departure. Overall enjoyed the food but wouldn’t rush back.

It would be good to inform customers of items that weren’t available, if we’d had known what was missing from the menu, or the time required to do the prep work for a start (60 minutes!), then we’d have left and gone somewhere else, with the view of rebooking our table for another day. Rice portions needs to be a little larger, one of the cocktails we had was tasteless, while the other was fantastic. Lack of spice and pickle option with the popadoms was disappointing. Some of the staff were good, some were all over the show, recommending meat based dishes as alternative options despite them being told 10 seconds earlier of the need for vegetarian food. The place needs some spit and polish in the front of house, especially given the price point of the restaurant.

Very attentive service, amazing food, and good value (for the centre of Manchester). My only issue was the ambience, as our table was in a row of 2’s that were all very close together. It wasn’t the romantic meal we had planned for our Anniversary, as we felt like we were sat with the couples next to us..!

We started off with some papadoms but the condiments which accompanied them were not fresh and the choice was limited. We had the sharing kebab platter and the prawns were over cooked and the seekh kebab was very dry. However we also ordered the Amritsari fish which was the best dish we experienced on that day.

From the moment we were greeted we felt welcomed,Asha’s is not the cheapest Indian nut you realise why by the quality of the food it was fantastic. The service was excellent and the staff were attentive without being in your face. We will be returning.

Everything about my experience with Asha's was flawless - the quality of the food, the service, and the setting - and all reasonably priced, in my opinion. It was my first time making a booking there and I'll definitely be returning for more.

Fabulous meal, ordered from the a la carte menu. Superb food, great quality and good quantity. Waiters very attentive. Prices top end but worth it. Tried the desert platter - delicious and best Indian desert ever.

Everything about Ashas shouted quality but sadly the food and price didn't match the place. No coffee or desert offered , so unlike the quality Indian resteraunts we are used to in Dublin.

Great night celebrating my daughters 18th. The staff were great couldn't do enough. The food was delish no complaints apart from it being g a bit over priced. Apart from that fab night thank you.
