   Great views, delicious variety of food, excellent service and ambiance. We had crab legs, shrimp, prime rib, lots of sides and homemade desserts. Our waiter, Jose, was very attentive and kind. He somehow knew I wanted a seat by the window. We were able to watch the sunset by mountain views and then see the city lights at night. Always a wonderful experience. We love walking in the halls of the Grove Park Inn and seeing the fireplaces and historical pieces.

   We walked in not knowing what to expect .... my daughter said, "ugh, mom - a buffet" ... by the end of the night, our party of 4 was very impressed with the diverse offerings, the quality of food, and the extremely professional and nice wait staff and servers. My only complaint is that I didn't go back for a second helping of short ribs ....

   The food was a mixed bag. Some items were amazing and others were very unimpressive. We were disappointed in the prime rib which is supposed to be the highlight of the Saturday evening buffet. Given the price tag and our past experiences at this buffet, we expected more.

   I’ve been to the seafood buffet many times. The good quality was the worst I can remember. Crab legs were small and difficult to open. Oysters were tiny and the friend shrimp didn’t taste like shrimp at all. All the other food was really good but mainly went for the crab legs and oysters. Skip all the desserts except bananas foster. Service and all the staff were great. Beautiful place and we enjoyed the grounds and sitting by the fire with old fashions.

    Food was great as was the atmosphere. Service was lacking. We had to ask the server for everything, sometimes twice. Since we were at the Friday night buffet, it wasn’t like the server was busy.

    Great meal at Blue Ridge! Impeccable service and above par food. One piece of advice - pay the extra for valet parking, or you may be walking uphill and taking steep steps to reach the Inn. Not good during a storm! Visit and enjoy!

    While we were there the power was out the entire time we were there. The food was so so but service was great. You are paying for the service and the view that's about it.

    Great choice for special night out. All the food was great especially the crab legs and desert bar. Go ahead of time and enjoy the sunset fro the terrace or the large fire places

    A seafood extravaganza to satisfy every taste. Large variety and good quality for a buffet setting. A few dishes so-so, most very tasty, and some outstanding. Attentive service; incomparable setting. Great value!

    Our waiter, Daniel, was outstanding, top tier! The food was pretty tasty, only one or two stations had cooked fish that was hammered into leather. Lots of options to wander through. Worth a visit if you’ve been training to over-indulge, not for a romantic dinner. A bit chaotic shuffling around all the other patrons but if you like buffets it’s worth checking out. If you do not enjoy the buffet style search & gather eating approach, then downtown will have more to offer. But, give it a go and see what you think.

    Again, not a huge fan of buffets but you can't beat the view. The brunch had a huge choice of food items and stations - but still a buffet. If you are a fan of quantity over quality, this is for you.

    The food was outstanding and the service was very good. I did have quit a few mushy shrimp which was disappointing. Other than that the food was excellent. I've eaten at the Blue Ridge at least 10+ times.

    It confirms my thoughts about eating at buffets - food is very average and nothing really made me go back for more. With that said, our server, Lisa was spot on. When we would step away, she always had everything neat and tidy with drinks topped off when we returned.

    Everything was excellent; magnificent. Background music would make it perfect! The buffets are an experience in fine dining even without the music, but the music would be that extra touch that would be so nice.
