Terrible experience. We were generally ignored for the first half hour we were there (despite having made reservations). Had to flag down waitstaff to order, then had to flag down waiststaff again after sitting with empty drinks for over 10 minutes. Sandwich bun was stale. View was nice which was a saving grace.

My family has been enjoying dining at the breakers for over 30 years. When arriving for our reservation, we found that the restaurant was completely empty. We were told to go upstairs to the deck for service. Upon arrival, we were told that there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate both the regular dining room and the deck. We were shown outside seating on plastic table and chairs while the live entertainment tuned up. This is not the dining experience we have come to expect from the Ashworth. We chose to leave. Please make customers aware of significant changes ahead of time.

Our experience at Breakers was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Before arriving, we called multiple times to ask about the dress code, but no one ever answered the phone. To avoid any issues, we returned to our hotel to change into more appropriate attire. When we arrived back at the restaurant, we were informed that our reservation had already been given away. Here's why. The valet then directed me to park in what turned out to be an illegal parking spot. I was immediately told by the Hampton Beach Police Department to move my vehicle. After paying for parking, losing our reservation, and then being told it would be another 20-minute wait, we decided to leave. The lack of communication, poor reservation management, and valet issues made for an incredibly frustrating experience. If you're visiting Hampton Beach and want a stress-free vacation, I would strongly recommend avoiding Breakers.

Made reservations, however when we got there the restaurant knew nothing about it. However we were able to get seated quickly but the menu was not at the Breakers, it was the pub food menu which is not what I requested and inquired about several times. The view looking out at the ocean was wonderful. Service was good, quality of food was just OK ….just disappointed at making a reservation and thinking I could order off a different menu which didn’t happen.

Wouldn’t know how my experience was. Made a reservation, arrived timely, restaurant closed? If it was closed, why was I able to make a reservation? Staff non-existent or ignoring us. They let us know the bar upstairs was open, which is great but I made a reservation at the restaurant, not the bar. Do better…..

I never write poor reviews, but this one needed to be known: I made a reservation for Mother's Day at 1:15p. We were seated promptly and told that the buffet was open. The restaurant was empty. We sat and waited about 15 mins for our waitress to place our drink order. Once placed, we were pointed to the buffet. The quality of food, upon sight, was surprisingly to say the least. For $75/pp, to open the buffet trays and to see a near empty tray that had obviously been sitting a while (the cheese was hard on the chicken and lasagna dishes), was appalling. There were about 25 patrons in the entire place. The least the staff could have done was turnover food so that it was fresh as parties came and went. I had to scrape the bottom of the wilting salad. In hindsight, I should have alerted the staff but I was too taken aback and could not believe what I was witnessing. Not to mention, my daughter's mocktail drink had way too much syrup in it, and when I altered the waitress, she shrugged and said, that lemonade is sweet. To spend $400 with tip and leave hungry is beyond disappointing. The desserts could not save this mess. The whipped cream can placed in an ice bucket ran runny when I tried to use it. This is definitely a never again restaurant.

Not worth the $70 per person for Easter. The eggs Benedict was cold, and bland. The oysters were small and dry. Ham was also dry. I ordered a mimosa that had wine instead of champagne. I would not drive 45 minutes for this again
