I used to live close by and last visited a couple of years ago. Has this place changed management? Its still a great restaurant but the menu isnt what it was, the food is less spectacular and the service less attentive

Great Sunday roast! The food was all delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Our waitress was exceptional, incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely lovely throughout. She made the whole experience feel effortless. Outstanding service and a lovely Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend!

The food was nothing special, we had gala pie, crab and soup, crab was very expensive, soup was ordinary and gala pie was gristly. For main we had tough short ribs that was far to sweet, shepherds pie which was not bad and chicken Kiev. Soggy skin on the Kiev wasn’t pleasant. We was pleased to leave. Service was mediocre, never seemed to have the same person twice, managers walked past asked how the food was and carried on, not interested to hear if we actually had anything to say. And this was with very few diners late afternoon on a Saturday, atmosphere was non existent. We last went 20 years ago and if we have to go again in another 20 years it will be to soon!!

We had different dishes from fillet and sirloin steaks to fish and chips with sides, finishing with sherry trifle and sorbets. The food was delicious and well presented. Excellent service from Carmine and the Team including Teja. We always feel welcome and look forward to going back soon to the Butlers Wharf Chop House.

I came to London and was hoping for a Sunday roast dinner and Butlers Wharf didn’t disappoint. My daughter and I totally enjoyed sitting outside by the river. The food was excellent. We ate it all and believe me it was a lot.

The food was lovely (I had the crab starter and shared the chicken & leek pie which was delicious) and the location is always striking. Their Craggy Range was reasonably priced… but the side portions (roast potatoes) felt a little small and the service was basic. Nice enough team, but not enough of them and I spent the whole lunch pouring our wine & water, which isn’t an issue per se, but at an old school establishment like this I would expect more, and it makes me cry a little at the 13.5% service charge.

Having not been for years a trip back brought back nothing but good memories. Excellent service, great food and a wonderful riverside location watching Tower Bridge open and close. What's not to like.
