Beef medallions were especially good last night, with a wonderful Marchand de Vin sauce. Highly recommend the restaurant for fine dining, friendly service and a French atmosphere.

Very good food. Only problem was I was told the special soup de jour was Manhatten clam chowder, but they brought me bean soup. I would have never ordered bean soup.... I am now paying for it:) gas wise..

This has become our favorite restaurant when visiting Palm Desert, the food and drinks are amazing but the service and warm inviting atmosphere send it over the top - every time! The owner is wonderful and many of the staff (also great) have been there for decades, which says a lot! Great place.

This has to be the best restaurant in the valley, and we have tried them all. Have been going here for over 25 years, but suddenly the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Extensive menu has something for everyone. Prices are not out of line for the type of ingredients used. We love to dine in the bar if it is just the 2 of us; on the patios when we bring guests. Staff and service is unparalleled. Great wine list - full bar, amazing Tarte Tartin. Charm galore...it is like a trip to France without the crazy people on the airplanes today. Pleasant ambiance - you can actually talk as it is not a loud place and how refreshing is that? 10 stars!

For the past three years, we have traveled to Palm Desert for a long Thanksgiving holiday weekend and have had our celebration dinner at Cafe des Beaux Arts. While the food has never been a star attraction, the atmosphere was always warm and homey, and the staff friendly … in general, a nice place for a family celebration. Sadly, they have raised their prices significantly since last year. Service was rushed with only half the items that we ordered coming to the table at the same time. (How hard is it to mess up turkey and the accompanying trimmings?) The waiter had to keep returning to the kitchen to complete the order. Overall, we were disappointed.

This is not our 1st time to Café Des Beaux-Arts. We have been coming hear for many years, mostly for celebrations such as birthdays. This time though it was to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary, so we wanted to go to someplace special that would not disappoint and we could not be more pleased than going to Café Des Beaux-Arts. We were seated right away without hesitation. Our waiter was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious. You could tell that this restaurant is a local favorite, it was a full house and a lot of happy folk. I highly recommend Café Des Beaux- Arts.

Excellent dinner as always. The rack of lamb was perfect! Service fantastic. Manager/owner checked in on us and thanked us for coming more than once. They truly appreciate your business and it shows. Highly recommend and we have dined almost every restaurant on the street!
