Occupying the historic Eagles Building on the corner of 400 South and West Temple street downtown, Caffe Molise opened in 1993 serving lunch and dinner daily. Featuring daily specials for lunch and dinner, with made-to-order appetizers, fresh and imported Italian pastas, main dishes and delectable desserts, we have been a fixture of Salt Lake City for 30 years. Staff favorites include our Ravioli con Zucca, the Arista, and Pappardelle al Sugo.

Peruse our award-winning wine and drinks menus including our seasonal craft cocktails.

When the weather is warm, enjoy our outdoor patio. Seating is limited; we request that guests keep dining to a 2 hour limit. Reservations are recommended; walk-ins are welcome. We are also available for curbside pick-up and gift card purchase. Cheers!

    For a Tuesday night service was very slow and inattentive. If it were a weekend it would be fine, but for a Tuesday, the staffing manager should be fired

    I was going to pay cash, then decided to use debit card. When the check came, I put it in my wallet and spaced out signing!! Your amazing waitress was able to catch up to me outside thank goodness!! Maybe because there wasn't a pen? My doTERRA Team loved their meals again...we will be back again next year!! Thank you!

    Great service. Good atmosphere. The desert was good. Not a big selection of entrees. Wasn’t a huge fan of the food. It didn’t seem bad, just not the food that fits my tastes.

    Beautiful restaurant for our one night in SLC. Ambiance and service were really good. My king salmon was delicious but the peach salsa was a bit sweet. Dinner salad boring. Weedy Lettuce only, no other veggies etc. charcuterie is nice, would have preferred a few more veggies as it was mostly fatty meat and cheese. But otherwise good if that’s the way you like it. Husbands chicken rollatini was tasty but not hot. Decent cocktails and wine list. Definitely a nice place to try if you’re visiting Salt Lake.

    This is one of our favorite restaurants in Salt Lake City, and one that my husband and I come back to every chance we get. The food is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful for both the everyday occasion and the special nights out. It looks like they recently raised their prices, which is a bummer but can be expected due to inflation. We typically pay between $50-75 for dinner for the two of us.

    Restaurant is located in a restored Order of Eagles building. Our reservation was for the patio which was a wonderful covered spot full of greenery My husband had beef tenderloin grilled with a wonderful wild mushroom and truffle cream sauce and I had rich and delicious Papperdelle al Sugo. Both came with a lightly sauced crisp green salad. Accompanied by a fine Italian Chardonnay. Music provided by a talented jazz trio. Highly recommend Caffe Molise if you are in Salt Lake City.

    Not super impressed to be honest. First of all, the parking to the south of the building was not free, so we had to find street parking in downtown SLC. Next, The butternut squash was good, but made me extremely ill. The house salad that came with our meal was very tangy and not much other flavor. The mozzarella tomatoes and basil appetizer had three large pieces of cheese for the 12 slices of large tomatoes so we had way more tomatoes left over and but enough cheese. The creme brulee was very good and tasty Would definitely have that again. 😋 The manager was wearing a mask and immediately I wanted to leave. I'll pass next time.

    We ate on the patio and had a great experience. The food was delicious and we had great service. Both our dishes (Arista and Orecchiette al Salsiccia) were fantastic and we finished our meal with the hazelnut mousse cake. Highly recommend!

    Food was amazing. Only reason it’s 4 star instead of 5 is cost. It’s a bit price- drinks weren’t free refills and you had to pay to have more seconds on the bread.

    Excellent service and amazing meal. We needed to eat in a hurry to get to our show on time. Our waiter made sure we were served quickly and got us out on time. Grateful for the meal and experience.

    The food was great but make sure you have plenty of time. Service was very slow. Took them 15 minutes to get us our check after we asked for it. We did have 3 little kids with us which didn’t help with our patience so definitely take that into consideration. The bistecca was amazing! Didn’t like the salad as we’re not big parm cheese fans. The rolls are sooo good.

    Our waiter had pungent body odor that made it hard to ask him for anything. We didn’t want him to over to us. We had made birthday reservations and requested an outside table. The receptionist said they didn’t have anything available for us. Toward the end of meal, our waiter who smelled so foul, told us, “we can stay and finish, but he needed our table for a bigger party”!!!!! He seriously said that! We come here often and have never had such a bad experience! -B-
