   I have been to this restaurant several times in the past ad each time it seems to get worse and worse. I haven’t been in over a year because of the last experience and today I was reminded why. When we walked in, we could see there were only maybe 5 other tables with people in the entire restaurant. We stood at the hostess stand for a good 10 minutes or more before anyone came to seat us. There was even a waitress that came up to the stand and didn’t so much as acknowledge us to say “someone will be right with you.” Nothing. When the hostess finally arrived, she grabbed two menus and began to walk to a table. We had to just assume that meant to follow her because she literally did not say one word to us. Lead us to a table, put the menus down, and off she went. It was then another 10 minutes or more before our server acknowledged us. We ordered and in the meantime, my husbands glass went empty and did not get refilled until the food came. He enjoyed his burger. I ordered the club sandwich and it was awful. How do you make a bad sandwich? It was supposed to have ham and turkey but only had ham and maybe a tiny piece of turkey, and the meat was only on one half of each half of the sandwich. If I picked up the sandwich half, one side of it was just lettuce and bread. I didn’t finish the sandwich and really only took about two bites out of it, but the waitress didn’t bother to ask about it. The chips were just okay. When it was time to pay and leave, the waitress was nowhere to be found. We sat there for about 15 min waiting to finally see her and then had to call her over so we could pay. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I used to love this place several years ago. This was the last chance for me - We won’t be back.

   The food was good BUT….the wait to get the food was 50 min. We had 2 kids with us and 2 adults. The waitress kept telling us she was sorry bout its always this way. It was nt even crowded as a matter of fact just the opposite. If you have an hour to spare before you get to eat it’s fine , otherwise. Go somewhere else.

    Wednesday is fried chicken day and it’s delicious. My husband and one son love the shrimp and grits. The youngest loves their burgers. Great food, friendly servers make this our regular place to eat.

    Made a reservation for 5 people. We arrived and it was chaos trying to determine where to put us. They eventually put us at a table that was just not going to work. We suggested putting 2 tables together. We wanted to sit in the bar however ended up in the dining room. Order was taken immediately and we had a bit of a wait for drinks but all was good. Food arrived and it was delicious, as always. Server though never came back around to see if we need anything else. We asked other servers for more water and additional beers. All in all a good night, if you look beyond the little glitches. Always a go to restaurant. Kim is an exceptional server however she was not working that night.

    Went on a Wednesday and luckily had a reservation as the place was packed with 30 minute waiting time. Ordered our drinks and were promptly served and placed dinner order, After 40 minutes dinner shows up. My burger 🍔 was cold as were the sweet potato fries and my wife’s fried chicken was dry. Server never came by to check on us…,we ate because we were very hungry and didn’t want to wait. My guess is the kitchen was overwhelmed. We come here 1 or 2 times a month but won’t be back!

    Great new menu item pesto shrimp rigatoni was delicious. The rest of our party enjoyed a chicken burrito bowl,steakhouse burger and fried chicken sandwich. Great service by Carlee and Malik stopped by to say hello. Great local food place!

    We were very pleased with our visit, especially the very speedy service. The appetizer onion rings were to die for. Fifth and chips okay but chips were average.The salmon dinner was very good with the salmon cooked just as requested …medium. All in all, a visit to be repeated.

    Make sure you get your points. CB has a history of canceling your reservation and you’ll have to follow up. Otherwise food and service was great!

    The brewery has a temporary Valentine's Day menu. Some of us had delicious sirloin with asparagus and cheesy fries and the other had shrimp scampi. We ended it with chocolate cheesecake. Delicious!
