   As always it was a wonderful experience; been dining here since 2014. Reservation was for Sunday at 7p but we were running about ten mins late; we called and they accommodated. We also added a guest halfway through the meal and Sabrina was the best server for our little birthday celebration. We enjoyed trecce pasta, truffle pasta add scallops, and the meatball entrees; bread service, two orders of fried zucchini, and the artichokes for appies. Desert was decadent with the biscotti pie, tiramisu, and the ahhhmazing black truffle bread pudding. The bar shook balanced reposado espresso martinis, and the selection of bubbles and wine is extensive. Do yourself a favor and book a table or walk-in for a bar seat. Mangia!

   We’ve eaten here many times and the food, service and cocktails are consistently excellent. The eggplant appetizer is incredible even for non eggplant lovers. The short rib risotto is amazing as are the seafood and mushroom risottos.

    I dined alone at the bar. I had a great experience. Shelby was my server and she did a great job of giving me advice for food and wine. I had the crispy eggplant which was so incredible; don’t sleep on that appetizer! I also really enjoyed the bucatini with pancetta and Calabrian peppers. I would dine there again happily!

    Great Lunch place right outside our office. Casual dining, great atmosphere and food was fantastic! Great place to grab dinner or drinks before a lightning game as well!

    Tasty food, nice atmosphere, great service! The pasta was perfectly cooked, sauce was flavorful, portions were perfect and service was good. I’d go back again. Prices a little high for pasta but still a much better choice than Donatello’s! The salad had a bit too much dressing (should have gotten it on the side but forgot to ask) and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian! Felt very authentic to me.

    What a fantastic place! Carpaccio was outstanding. Main course was the rack of lamb and it was perfectly cooked and the mustard reduction was awesome. Best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Dessert was fantastic! Definitely coming back!

    We had an early reservation after seeing a play at the Stageworks Theater. The restaurant was conveniently located right by the theater. What a great find! Everything was delicious….especially the fried eggplant appetizer! The service was great too!

    We went out for an early dinner and the place was packed by the time we finished. We started with the bread board and the meat and cheese board and they were delightful. The red sauce is amazing. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and we finished with limoncello. Perfect night.

    Menu options sound great in theory but leave much to be wanted. Overcooked lamb chops, undercooked pizza and slow service. Cost isn’t dramatically high, but far too high for the dinner that I received.

    Wasn’t a very romantic environment, being closely located to a gym there seemed to be lots of gym attire in what was advertised as a romantic spot. The food wasn’t great, kinda under seasoned.

    Wine selections were good. The fresh bread basket was excellent as was the risotto. The fried snapper, though, was too chewy. They would have done better by sautéing or broiling it. Good service.

    Food was spectacular. I ordered the branzini with broccolini and mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered braised short rib risotto. We were both impressed with the serving sizes as well as the overall taste of the food. Typically she has leftovers but this time she finished her meal and stated that it was very well prepared. The seating is a bit tight and kind of gives you a big city restaurant feel but still tucked away. We want to go back and try the brunch because the food was absolutely amazing. Although no one from the management staff, or head chef asked us if we enjoyed our meals we definitely did.

    We booked from online & expected a different type restaurant & ambiance. More of a bar/restaurant located in an outdoor bar type environment. Waitress was good but food took a long time. I ordered the bolognese & wasn’t impressed w the sauce. Will choose another Italian restaurant on our next Tampa visit.

    Love the atmosphere at Cena - quieter ambience, very conducive for nice conversation between friends or a date. Dinner was delicious - especially enjoyed the eggplant appetizer. Lovely service - the waiter was very personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back!

    Every time we come to Cena, it feels like a homecoming. Wonderful drinks, the best appetizer, and main courses that never disappoint. Shelby was our superb coconspirator for the evening Keep it up, you know what right looks like, so don’t change a thing.
