   First timer to Chima and overall great experience. Our server Patricia did an excellent job explaining our options and with her recommendations, she really made the dinner an experience. Enjoyed all the variety of food, but the bacon wrapped filet was off the chart. Will definitely return.

    One of the best fine dining spots in Charlotte. Staff is very cordial and engaged. Atmosphere, overall vibe and the food is amazing. 15/10 and the perfect graduation, first date, anniversary dining experience!

    Chima can never ever be a bad decision, there is always something for everyone... the food is amazing ,the management is great, the gauchos are entertaining and the servers are top notch! our Carmelo is perfect every time we love the special touch of remembering our family's name and making sure everyone gets the same attention.

    The service at Chima Steakhouse in Charlotte was absolutely amazing. The server was amazingly attentive without hovering and the food was wonderful. If you are looking for all you can eat steak then this is the place for you. My only complaint is that I became full too quickly and was not able to enjoy even more of their amazing offerings.

    This was mine AND my fiancé’s first time at Chima and it was outstanding to say the least. Miss Patricia was our server and she was just divine! Everything she recommended we tried, and it was all delicious! Food was just divine and the atmosphere was lovely. I would go back sooner just for her if I could, she was lovely. You definitely get what you pay for if you bring your appetite!! We’ll be back again soon!! <3

    Liked the afternoon, reservations were fine didn’t wait at all, were seated quickly explained things well. However we were very much bombarded with servers even when we placed on our table that we weren’t wanting to receive meat at the time, it interrupted our dinner conversation multiple times and felt like a big rush at some points to finish what we were eating. We are told to flip a card to show we weren’t wanting to have anyone come over and that they would leave us be to talk and eat until we decided to flip it once more to the yes side. This wasn’t the case, the servers for the most part came over anyway no point to use the cards really. I’ve been to places like this before with beautiful scenery and a cheaper price point. The venue was a golden hue but didn’t have too much appeal visually. Sides are small for a table of 4 compared to other places we’ve been to, the food was good, medium is more of the rare side 5-10 times. I can recommend Fahrenheit nearby as a better dinner option. Same price point. Hope this helps you make a choice. We sadly kept comparing this place to others we’d been to and it couldn’t compete. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t an outstanding experience we would find memorable either. Probably wouldn’t try again. Waiter was great, servers were nice. Venue lacked more space and decor (felt dark with browns and black and gold, instead of bright and colorful) Food was alright we had some key things we liked If there is a Texas de Brazil near you try there instead.

    My husband took me to chima on Mother’s day (first mother’s day, might I add) service was great but the food took forever. They did give out a free dinner. My mom flew in and we took her on Tuesday to celebrate. The service was great until we were about to pay. I presented the gift card and without even reading it the waitress said “not today” and I proceeded to say “excuse me? Why not?” She said it wasn’t valid and I literally had to read it out loud to her. She said she was going to check with the manager to see if he could “honor it,” which he did but when she came back she brought us the check along with the old check and proceeded to show how much 20% tip would be without the gift card. Needless to say, it ruined my mom’s first time at chima as well as her mother’s day.

    Service and Food were exceptional. However we were told we were being gifted a cake for our Anniversary that we were charged for. As well Fried bananas and cheese are brought to the table without clarity that a charge accompanies it as well. We didn’t mind paying but give your guest that option.

    The food was good - but the rest of the experience was lackluster. For what we spent for the dinner, we could have had a much better experience in many other places. Also felt that for the portions we eat, the restaurant was just not for us. And this is for someone who's requested similar restaurants in the past (e.g. Fogo de Chão). The restrooms were not clean and the service was so-so. We wanted to try it, so we did. But probably not going back.

    When coming out with the meat of choice, the servers should work the room. Sometimes start to the back of the room and work their way up, then vice versa so those in the back won't have to wait so long.
