Lovely date night with sensational food. We were planning our next visit before the night ended. Plus the few minutes chat with chef was truly the icing on the cake. We will be back soon 😍

My first return in possibly a few years to Ethiopic. I was extremely impressed, and feel like this was the best Ethiopian food I've in the last 5 or more times I've eaten it. Just sustaining on an extremely high quality level. Kudos!

Highly recommended! We were in DC for my wife’s birthday and she picked this place. She is the family foodie so I didn’t doubt her decision one bit. All of the dishes were delicious and our waitress (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was top tier. We could tell her recommendations were because she actually tasted the dishes instead of giving a generic answer. She even gave my wife a sampler of a dish that she was on the fence about.

Food was absolutely amazing, especially the doro wat, which was just as delicious as was promised. Appetizers were a little bland, but we present as pale white people, so maybe they thought we could not handle the heat. Similar for the drinks. Service was good. Noise levels were perfect.

Came for date night and it was more than expected. I expected an upscale restaurant and got a lounge that was right up our ally and needed!
