Populairste bistro's in Boerum Hill

I’ve been wanting to go to Sailor for a very long time, and we were very excited to have our first experience this past Sunday. I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated so warmly by the hostess, and then we were given a beautiful table because of a last-minute cancellation. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was so delicious. We split the whole roasted Bronzino for two, and it may be the best fish I’ve ever had. It may be difficult to get a reservation here, but that should not stop you from trying! The food and the hospitality that they are offering up is one of the best I’ve experienced in a long time, and I eat out a lot in New York. It is a truly special place.

Overall, the food was good and portions were a good size. Our waiter stayed on top of things and was super friendly. They have live music, so factor that in when you're getting a table.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here. We love ❤️ this restaurant. So parisian. Food was exceptional. Service was impressive. Ambience was wonderful. We had the Sea Bass, french onion soup...both delicious. Creme Brulee arrived with a candle. Only con is wine list, but the gigantic teddy bears made up for the wine list.

What a wonderful French Bistro we were staying @ Indigo Hotel across the street we stumbled on this lovely lounge at the Dirty French inside the Ludlow Hotel. We had a quiet breakfast in the relaxing atmosphere here, Abdel was our server and was extremely friendly, kind & hospitable, took extra time to connect with us. I had the Any-Style combo of Eggs, roast potato and sliced Avocado & Toast & my friend had the Croissant Egg Sandwich. Both were delicious. We would highly recommend this place. Ask for Abdel!
