Populairste Frans-amerikaanse restaurants in Elysian Valley

The restaurant is beautiful and located in a nice little plaza with an underground parking lot. The plaza has a few tea shops so it’s a bit of a nice energetic atmosphere just walking in. The front door is the first left and they have cute patio seating overlooking some nice trees. The inside is very clean and chic, slight japandi. If you go around 6pm it’s still a little bit quiet and intimate but by 7-8pm the crowd will start picking up. There’s a good selection of drinks from the regular Negronis to more experimental goat cheese cocktails if you’re feeling adventurous. The bartenders are very nice, they notice small details and offer help when needed but are never overwhelming. The bar also has hooks for your bags!! At the bar only, you have a choice between fixed courses or à la carte (other seating options only offer prix fixe). My friends and I are were only peckish so we just ordered a few random items. I loved the appetizer— the cream and the caviar was such a light but decadent combo. The main courses had a lot of great flavors and hit all the notes of the original dish with beautiful presentation. Really enjoyed the flavors and will be going back to try the set courses!! On weekends, steep hosts live music and vendors outside of the plaza. It’s a really nice way to end the night after a nice meal :)

We had a lovely lunch and our server was very attentive without being overbearing! She saw to our every need and took very good care of us! She made sure we were able to have our meal and make it to our show on time.

Who couldn't love Traxx, sitting as it does in the middle of the glorious Union Station? It's not fancy, but the food is good and fresh and the service was excellent. We sat "outside" so that we could see the hustle, hear the calls for the trains, and feel the scale of the building.
