An Experience, Not Just a ReservationLegacy 27 is more than a restaurant—it’s a statement.Located in a landmark building in downtown Newark, we’ve reimagined a historic space into a destination where culture, elevated flavors, and unforgettable experiences converge.Every detail is intentional—from the ambiance to the menu—designed to create moments that go beyond dining.
Conceived over years of wild nights – in bars and on boats – Holywater celebrates the indulgences of our birthplace, New Orleans, and our adopted home, New York. It's the bar we’ve always wanted to go to!The menu is concise, and everything on it is what you want. It leans on classic and forgotten cocktails, wines you can feel good about, easy-drinking beers, oysters and fruits de mer, an exceptional bistro burger, and an old-school New Orleans gumbo. Please note reservations are not assigned to a specific area of the venue. Your party may be seated in either our dining room or our lounge, depending on availability. The Dining Room offers traditional seated dining. The Lounge provides casual seating with cocktail tables. The Bar is walk-in only. Our complete menu is available in all spaces. We look forward to hosting you!
