    Great mains - fish and chips. A bit disappointed with desert not as expected. However, bar/serving staff were polite, gracious and very obliging. Apologies i don't know your names but the two young men on Wednesday evening 28th Oct. were superb. Thank you. You made our experience even better. Look forward to returning.

    We chose simple haddock and chips but the fish was so fresh and delicious, it was anything but a simple meal. Service was excellent and we were early to dine in the evening, so the restaurant was quiet. Will definitely go again.

    Went to York for my 60th birthday and booked in at drakes fisheries so glad we did it was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had try and see youl be glad you did the service is excellent and all staff are very friendly will be back when visiting York again

    Great service from a young man. Checked you were happy or needed anything else. Lovely fresh white fish and crispy batter. Defo go back.
