Our experience at L’Echelle, was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the main course, with every dish exceeding our expectations. The service was equally impressive. From the warm greeting we received upon arrival to the attentiveness of our servers throughout the evening, every detail made us feel welcome and well cared for. The staff was exceptionally polite, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions about the menu. Their recommendations, especially regarding wine pairings, helped make the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear that L’Echelle takes great pride in both its cuisine and its customer service. The combination of exceptional food, thoughtful wine recommendations, and attentive, professional service made for a truly memorable evening. I would highly recommend L’Echelle to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.

Excellent service, lovely romantic setting with beautiful music. My cocktail was fabulous and the clam appetitzer was delicious. The beet salad was fantastic. The main meals were very good but not all that flavorful- however they were authentically French. Overall a very nice experience.

We had a reservation for 2 and then saw 2 old friends at a different table. St. Jack reseated us with our friends and graciously tolerated our slow pace of ordering and eating with people we hadn’t seen in a long time. The food was great and the service, provided by Lucas, was terrific. This is the epitome of dining in Portland. Duck, mussels, mushrooms, oysters. Perfect.

Consistently excellent food execution, service excellent Long time guest who brings in 'new" guests to dine here. Table 102 is my favorite

The service was excellent - friendly, efficient and engaging. All three of us enjoy our food choices and the portions were more than adequate.
