Populairste gastropubs in Milford on Sea

Booked this pub after recommendation from a friend. He was so right great place and wonderful food, it was mid week so not very busy but the fire was on and welcoming, table service was prompt and and professional. Waiting time for starters was very quick and mains followed. All in all a very good experience 👍

Fabulous setting with amazing food. First visit and will definitely be going back. Fair prices for such excellent food. Much larger Inn than I thought, lovely cosy bar area( where you can also eat if you prefer. ) We were seated in the very modern glass area at the back, very trendy and upmarket feel. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Have already recommended this to friends to try.

Absolutely outstanding Sunday lunch. Great portions and quality of food.

We had a really great meal at the Chequers pub. There were three of us plus dog. One of our party had a food tolerance issue and the staff were really good about checking whether the person's choice of meal could be an issue (it wasn't, so that was good). The dog got made a fuss of too. The only oddity was that the place felt really empty for a Thursday evening, which was a shame as the food and drink is great. Not something the staff can necessarily do a lot about, but it did feel quite lonely, and no general background music we could hear. 🤷
