Populairste Italiaanse restaurants in Fountain Hills / Rio Verde

My wife and I are on vacation in Arizona, tonight we headed back to Phoenix for our flight home tomorrow. We found DiMaggio’s on Instagram before we left, and then researched it and decided to go, so we booked this for tonight. I first off have to say we are from the NYC/NJ area and we were blown away by the food. I had their signature Veal Parmesan on the bone, and my wife had their their lasagna. Both were outstanding and my veal parm might have been the best I have ever had. If you are in the area of Scottsdale this is a must try spot. The food, and service were top notch. The people in this area are lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in their area. It’s truly a NYC /NJ Italian food experience! Also, a shout out to our server, Vincent who was outstanding and such a nice person to talk with. It’s a Must try !!!!

Great ambiance and excellent service. Food was really good. Portions were definitely very large and shareable. Absolutely loved the innovative Pistashio Sundae dessert and the Burratta and Figs with honey app. Vodka Pasta was good but pretty spicy. Only downside was the soda. They brought me 3 (I only asked once) and it was absolutely completely flat no bubbles in sight. For a restaurant of this quality and cost thats a miss easily fixed with canned soda if necessary. It really was a small thing...but weirdly notable given how great the food was in all other areas.

Over the years, Casa Mia has become one of my favorite spots for a nice quiet intimate dinner with my wife. Every time we go in, the hostess and the waiters greet us like we’re old friends, and I see that same thing with everyone else who comes in behind us. The food is great, the dining area is cozy, there’s no drama. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!
