Was absolutely outstanding!!! Has been one of the best bites we have had in a long time. You cannot miss out on the wagyu tartar, the hanger shish, or the agnolotti.

The food is very good and offers a great variety of dishes from across the Mediterranean. Everything we ordered tasted very much homemade. This time they had an excellent lamb Ossobuco. The service was excellent and quick each time we’ve visited. The host/server is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The space itself is on the small side and offers a relaxed, cozy dining experience.

I have dietary restrictions (no garlic, onion, etc. This being a mediterranean restaurants most items have garlic. After explaining my situation, they were very accommodating. Bronzino with no garlic, special rice, plain salad. The food was delicious and good size portions. My daughter had the braised beef and my husband has the kofte. Family run, warm and welcoming. Do make a reservation as the restaurant is quite small and seating could be limited particularly o the weekends.

We will be sure to stop in here next time we are in East Brunswick. This is great food - seriously, I'm not exaggerating - which we didn't expect to find in this area. We just stumbled over it, were just looking for decent food at a good price near our hotel. What a find! We will be back next time we come down from Boston, which should be no later than Thanksgiving.
