We are a family owned business located in the centre of York by the River Ouse. Our bar and bistro has gained a reputation for a wide range of beers and spirits coupled with an excellent selection of wines and champagnes. Close to The Grand Opera House and city centre, Plonkers is an ideal place to meet with friends or colleagues for a relaxed drink.Weekends at Plonkers can have a party atmosphere where you can relax after work with friends. Upstairs seats approximately 26 but we can cater for buffets for around 40 people with some standing. We now have our outside riverside area, where we serve food and drinks 10am – 9pm weather permitting.Please note that although Open Table appears to let you book downstairs or upstairs, this is a glitch with open table, and whilst we will do our best to accommodate requests, no specific tables can be booked as its down to phasing on the day,

MALT Bar & Deli is set in the heart of the historic town of Sherburn-In-Elmet in North Yorkshire and is the brainchild of local couple Clare and Ant Eckford. Named after their four children – Molly, Anna, Lucy and Tom, it is a real passion project for them both, bringing a place to meet the needs of the changing community and to enhance our small but vibrant town centre.Situated on the site of the former Fultons frozen foods store, we bring you locally roasted coffee, cakes and brunch items during the day and transform into a fabulous bar in the evenings. We also operate as a deli – fine cheeses and charcuterie to takeaway or eat in on our sharing platters, which includes a Yorkshire platter featuring Starkeys award winning pork pies! Finally our newest addition are our stone baked pizzas, as well as our fabulous toasties and sandwiches made with our local produce.Our wine selection has been handpicked by Clare and our cocktails are legendary! We have live music most Saturdays.

Latitude Wine Bar is the bar in a wine shop.Latitude opened in 2008 and established itself as Leeds' award winning wine & spirits shop. In 2024 we moved and opened a wine shop with a bar at 46 The Calls.At Latitude Wine Bar we pride ourselves on our extensive collection of over 2000 wines and spirits that adorn the shelfs surrounding our seating area. We don't have a bottle list, but you can select any of the wines in our collection and enjoy them at your table for retail price plus corkage. Our extensive by the glass list changes regularly. As our own supplier we get to open wines you'd rarely see in your average bar, so its a great place to try something special. Our wine flights give you the opportunity to try wines side by side or paired with, food of which we serve a selection of cheeses and charcuterie along with various other nibbles. The Decanter Wine Bar is located at 17 Park Row, nested into the financial district of Leeds City Centre. A stylish venue, with an urban feel, the reclaimed wood bar sits proudly surrounded by exposed brick walls. Wine is the speciality at The Decanter. We’ve used expert wine suppliers to create a wine list to wow the people of Leeds. You can expect aromatic and zesty white wines, rich and luxurious reds, to crisp and fruity rosé, sourced from the finest vineyards from all corners of the world. Along with the vast selection of wines there are fine champagnes, sparkling wine, premium lagers, craft beers, classic cocktails, brandy’s, sherry's, ports and spirits.     Always welcoming and cosy for meals or drinks , whether you're on your own or in a group ! The pub has outside space literally yards away by the river during the warmer months which offers table service ....and always with a smile ! Can't recommend it highly enough

    The bar itself is really nice and chilled out hotel lobby vibe. The cocktails were amazing. My only tiny gripe was service it was slow despite being fairly quiet. If this was improved would be perfect.
