   We loved every minute of our experience. The quality of meats was unlike any experience I have ever had. Every ingredient of each dish was thoughtful and one bite presented soooo many different flavors. I cannot express what a great place this is. Kelly was so attentive and kind. Thank you so much.

   Previously very big fans -- go once and year and very much so looked forward to it. After yesterday, never again. Service was spotty and food was not good -- just unbalanced, sloppy food. I had a crawfish-shrimp mousse -- it was gross. I asked the waitress what was in exactly, she had no idea. Said she would ask -- never gave me an answer. Twice baked potato was underwhelming, not satisfying. Smoked quail was dry. Burger was disappointing. Best thing was the handpie because the crust was beautiful but filling was fine. By no means of the Dai Due standard that I've been used to. Been going since y'all were a food truck at the farmer's market. I hope things bounce back for y'all.

   Friend visiting from CA who normally spends his time here hunting had a fine dining experience with amazing service immediately after landing at Bergstrom airport. Thanks again for the memories. I recommend Nilgai in any preparation

    Today was our anniversary and our last day in Austin. This was the first place we ate and the last during this trip. That should say it all. The food and the service (we had Jordan both times) was excellent. Thank you Dai Due!!!

    We snagged a reservation last minute for a late date night while visiting Austin for our first time! We had an 9:15 reservation but arrive about 15 minutes early and they were able to promptly seat us! Our server was extremely knowledgeable and let us know highlights of the menu and helped assist in wine choices as well. She was patient as we tried to narrow down our choices because we couldn’t order the entire menu, despite wanting to! Hah! The food was outstanding, service unmatched, and sitting outside on the perfect evening was the icing on the cake!

    We're weekend lunch regulars at Dai Due. The restaurant food is always spot on and will allow you to sample some carne that you can't taste elsewhere. Stop by the deli before you leave and pick up some mouthwatering susages, salami's and pantry staples made on site in their kitchen, Oh, and don't forget the bread if you're lucky enough to buy a loaf.

    We were so excited to be back in Austin after four years, and the first restaurant we wanted to return to was Dai Due! They did not disappoint—the food is as fresh, unique, and delicious as ever. Top quality ingredients, in particular the meats. The waiter also was excellent and courteous, providing great suggestions. We cannot wait to go back! Don’t miss a trip (or more) to Dai Due if you are in Austin! You will be glad you did.

    I first heard of Jesse Griffiths on Meateater. My son and I enjoy Hunting and preparing the game we harvest. Jesse is very inspirational with his great recipes and insight into wild game. I have never had Nelgia before. Nelgai Leg was on the menu. It was amazing. We also ordered the cold meat tray and it did not disappoint. This experience to me was a 10 out of 10. Great food/drinks/atmosphere. Would highly recommend. I will be back.

    Loved the space and food was delicious. We were looking for a place that served local food and we lucked out. Everything was from Texas! Big portions, so we were full! Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

    Standouts were the wagyu ribeye(best steak ever)burger and sourdough. The fish dish and wild boar confit was also delicious. Didn’t love the dirty rice hand pie or the country pork rib. Coffee ice cream was missing dulce de leche sauce.

    Dai Due is such a beautiful example of what we can grow, raise, and prepare here in Texas. Portion sizes and ingredients justify the prices in my opinion. The menu is creative and every dish we got was flavorful and perfectly executed. I recommend eating outside if possible because the smokiness inside may be too much. Service was a little slow but they were busy and we were having a great time enjoying the food and conversation so we didn’t mind!
