Focusing predominately on fresh local seafood with a French, Lowcountry flare, Charlie’s is the place for good food, good wine and unforgettable memories all enjoyed in a quaint French country atmosphere.

A Savannah native, Charlie Golson’s interest in the French language and culture took him to Paris. After a long stint in the fast paced hotel kitchens of Washington DC, he was ready to move back closer to home. It was at that time he was able to open up a one room French bistro. The restaurant has grown over the years, but the ‘Green Star’ remains steadfast in offering the finest ingredients the Low country has to offer with a menu that is hand written daily. Resort Casual.

Our little locally owned Italian Eatery welcomes you! We are a small and intimate restaurant and reservations are HIGHLY SUGGESTED to guarantee your dining experience! We accept reservations 30 days in advance. Please be mindful when booking, we offer 3 different dining areas. "OUTDOOR SEATING" you will be dining in our ENCLOSED ALL-SEASON PATIO. "STANDARD SEATING" you will be at a table INSIDE our main restaurant at one of our dining tables. "BAR" selection will place you at side-by-side bar seating with countertop-high bar stools. Wheelchair accessible tables or dining with service animals need to be noted in your reservation in advance. Please include ALL CHILDREN in your reservation, including infants/babies in strollers/etc. FOR LARGER PARTIES (8+) and SAME DAY TABLE AVAILABILITY PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT DIRECTLY AFTER 3:30 PM.
