Add this spot to your sushi bucket list in Boston! I’ve been looking for a sushi spot for a while, and I found a great one! The ambiance is amazing, their booths are super comfy, and they also have some great cocktails! We got the midori and the douzo mai tai, and they were both great, but I wouldn’t miss out on the midori! For apps we tried the beef rolls and the salmon tartare! They were so fresh and delicious, pure perfection! For mains we got the chef’s selection sushi and the wagyu steak ishiyaki! The steak was incredible, perfectly cooked and the rice it came with was amazing too! The sushi tasting was an amazing experience, there were many different options and tbh I had no idea what I was getting for the most part, but I do know I loved every bite! Don’t skip dessert, and the caramelized banana is a must get!! I’ll definitely be back again!!

Sushi was fresh and exceptional. Unique options I have not had before. Fresh mango incorporated into one of our rolls and it was delicious. The bananas foster with fresh passion fruit puree is a must! Service was great. Booth seating too close together and lacked privacy but that was the only negative.

The big downside for Dusso is their lack of attentiveness to people with gluten allergies. Our waitress wasn’t really familiar and disappeared for quite a long period of time. When she came back, she had about six things written down on a little piece of paper saying that they were gluten-free. Surely we could not be the first people with a gluten allergy in our group.

This is a restaurant for people who like sushi! The two men I was with, had the sushi boat and found it to be absolutely amazing, fabulous extraordinarily delicious! I however, opted for a salad with fried onions on top. The lettuce was limp and obviously prepared earlier in the day and it was overly dressed. I then had that noodle dish with beef. The beef was probably prepared early in the day also and the noodles were tasteless. I had to. Soy sauce on it helped a bit. The loud music was unnecessary and repetitive.
