I don't think the staff were consciously being rude but that didn't detract from the fact that they were. I would imagine lack of experience and training to explain that. The food wasn't terrible but neither was it anything special.

11 were in our party with Children and all of us experianced lovley food and Fantastic service.

We ate from the fixed menu - plenty to choose from and great value Soup starter was very tasty and wholesome Main courses were excellent - I went for a lighter option of feta filo pastry with a beetroot and spinach wilted in balsamic vinegar side - delicious We skipped pudding as two courses were sufficient

Not been in for a while but not for any conscious reason. Last nights visit reminded me just how good Earle is and that I need to go and try Greens out too. Great food, great staff and a busy Tuesday night is a clear sign it's doing things right.

Lovely atmosphere especially for a special occasion. Staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Food was delicious from starters to dessert and not to expensive. Great range of drinks and cocktails. I would defiantly recommend this restaraunt and will be returning in the future.

We had another great meal at Earle on Saturday. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was spot on. The early bird menu at weekends is a great option for adults wanting to dine with their kids. Our 3 year old son loves the food at Earle and the kids menu offers a good range and great value. Previously Hale Bar and Grill was our go to restaurant, but we are switching our allegiance to Earle!

We have eaten at Earle several times previously and have always enjoyed the food. However I felt this time the food wasn't as good as previous visits. We ate from the 3 course set menu which we have enjoyed before and for £20 it does offer good value, although is more expensive than other restaurants in Hale who also offer set menus. My starter was risotto which was ok but didn't have a lot of taste and was a bit cold. My husband had crab cake which was a lot nicer. For mains I had chicken and my husband had steak. The chicken tasted good but portions were underwhelming. I had a plate of sliced new potatoes with 2 small pieces of chicken which size wise I'd compare to chicken wings. The plate was also cold. Deserts were good and we both enjoyed them. I think for the first time I felt that the set menu was the 'cheap' option with small portions and less quality. Previously I have always thought the food even on the set menu was of a high standard and therefore great value for money. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be visiting Earle again for a while.

Ive been pestering my partner that I wanted to go Earle for about a year! but we don't live locally and needed an excuse to be near Hale to warrant the travel and hotel, we finally managed this last weekend having gone to an exhibition in Manchester (that was not as big a hit as the dinner!) Booking using open table was simple and we arrived 5 mins before our booking, were greeted with warmth and excellent manners! Our table was ready bang on time and we were seated and offered drinks and food menus. I slight delay followed which the staff managed perfectly offering bread and olive oil/balsamic without prompting. As we chatted and enjoyed the view of the top of the range cars in the street time went by and we were offered complimentary drinks because of the delay. We had hardly noticed! The food came and was absolutely top notch! service was excellent and the whole evening was great! Cant recommend enough and one of the best meals I've had outside of London and Paris.

Average food, above average price bearing that in mind. Service sloppy. Clearly Mr Rimmers standards haven't been maintained. It's a pity as this restaurant keeps deteriorating.
