Located in the heart of Salt Lake City’s downtown district, Eva is a beloved dining destination known for its bold Mediterranean-inspired small plates and warm, intimate atmosphere. Eva is dedicated to and named after chef Charlie Perry's great grandmother. Eva Coombs passed on her respect for quality ingredients, an emphasis on the nourishing benefits of food and most importantly, the shared pleasure of eating. At Eva, our shared plates promote a communal sense of enjoyment. We have an extensive and varied small plates menu, craft cocktails and hand picked wine list.
In addition to being a popular "pre-show" dining venue, Eva provides a "from scratch" dining experience so please plan on approximately an hour and a half for us to execute the best possible experience.
We are in the heart of downtown so we love walk-in traffic! We hope to see you soon!

Our private event space above our Bakery just up the street at 155 S Main is the perfect space for all of your celebrations, whether company party, informal buffet, family gathering, reception, or formal dinner. This was the perfect choice for a relatively large group. Lots of unique and different small plates to share. The service was great and I will be back!

I love being able to try lots of dishes when I travel to new areas. Having small plates that were executed so well was a real treat. I also appreciate their beverage program offers a Quattro of wine, just the right amount! Prices were very good. It’s a sweet space with lovely, friendly servers. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the fried chicken and calamari which was prepared differently than what we are normally used to.

This was our first visit since their reopening. We were so glad to see one of our favorites recover from the fire damage and is doing well. Food and service great as usual. The butternut squash pasta special was yummy!

The service is outstanding. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and the music playing is very fitting. We ordered the olives with almonds- my husband said they were good. We also ordered the whipped goat cheese - it was the second best tasting item we had. We had the steak , carrots and meatballs. The sauce on the steak was very good and the steak was tender. The carrots were soft the sauce with it was different but good. The meatballs were very soft and the sauce was good. We also tried the watermelon salad. It was good but the apple slices in it were very mushy just not what I was expecting. We tried the eva pizza it was ok. Overall the experience was good but none of the food really popped with flavors. We go to Mar Muntana often and it definalty did not compare to what were used to for tapas.
