Step through the doors of this former 1950s Chinese diner and you're transported back in time. With original wallpaper, counters and wood installations there's a sense of timelessness and intimacy to the space that exudes nostalgia. Rustic, quaint and full of charm, the food mimics the decor. Here, it's all about the ingredients and Chef Rafael Badell makes sure to source the best seasonal offerings available. A small rotating dinner menu features dishes both familiar and novel and caters to a variety of diners.     I can't say enough good things about this little gem of a place which I found randomly online, while searching for a private event space. It doesn't stand out too much off of the street but once inside, you are just abou transported to a different era. Great decor, pleasant atmosphere and perfect background music, not too loud, allowing for conversation. They have a very limited menu and are a tad pricey but the dishes are exquisite and well presented. The same goes for their cocktails as well, which I understand they are known for. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming, answering all our questions. It's obvious they take pride in their service and most importantly, did not rush us! My friends and I will be back and I look forward to a holiday event there with my family in the near future.

    I treated my friend to birthday dinner at Donna’s. We shared four unique and delicious dishes each with subtle and unexpected textures and flavours. The perfect place for a special meal.
