The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister who are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch items, sustainable meats & produce. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite & has been recognized as the best burger in HoCo for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 38 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. The specialty cocktail menu has different seasonal ingredients along with a mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch 7 days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails & Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. Henji was born in New Territories, Hong Kong where he grew up eating and cooking traditional Cantonese + Hakkanese dishes with his family. Our menu is a combination of Chef Henji’s flavourful childhood in Hong Kong combined with his experience as a Chef in NYC. Sarah curates our natural wine program which is constantly changing to match the dynamic flavours of the current menu. We work with small family vineyards using minimal invention in their wine making process.
