    Gilbees is a great little find. Fabulous food, good wines, all Australian, and friendly attentive service. We sat in the cute courtyard which was lovely, there are heaters if it’s cold. Highly recommend.

    We had a great time at The George in South Melbourne. We had been recommended by friends who said the Chicken Parma was “the best!” And it was! So was the eggplant parmigiana. Really delicious. Good size portion and really yum. What really impressed us was the Halloumi Saganaki. It was so delicious. We really liked this pub/restaurant. We will be adding this to our regular repertoire.
