Maple Block was a HOME RUN!! The BEST cornbread and biscuits I've ever had generously smothered in whipped butter! The Brisket & Carnitas Tacos were phenomenal! Everyone in our group of 6 said it was AMAZING!!! The chips and salsa were fire, again, best chips I've ever had!! We're already planning to go back next week with a larger group!!

I love Ye Olde Kings Head High Tea. The service is amazing, the food is yummy. It is such a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys an authentic High Tea experience! I will be at Christmas.

First time, and as always with an H.Wood spot it felt like family and home. Austin was so warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and group. Hannah was behind the bar and felt like a long term friend off the bat. She heartily recommended the shrimp starter and that was lively with flavor and perfectly cooked. I had the salmon in a paper bag, and it was so tasty and bursting with freshness. You can go the other way with their famous tenders and burger, or stay on the cleaner healthier side. The fries were a late add-on and a home run, thankful I added them! The bar is an incredibly perfect little spot for a duo or couples, and the patio was a bubbly atmosphere last night. Almost didn’t want to leave! Will be back, it’s so nice to have a spot like this as an alternative to Angelini, and it really does feel like a true establishment for the very welcome return of the Palisades as the neighborhood rebuilds and carves out its enduring identity again.
