It is a setting where good food, motorcycles, and vintage objects create an atmosphere that is both intriguing and welcoming. In 1995, Davide Abbate brought his spirit of exploration to the kitchen, introducing new dishes from across Italy and a fine selection of red and white wines to the menu.

We found this restaurant our first night in Milan, and it was a hit! The staff couldn’t have been nicer, and food had a home-cooked quality. Everyone seemed to be ordering the pizza, but we had risotto and seafood pasta (with pizza crust on top). Cannoli was scrumptious!

We had a great dinner at Il Cestino on our last evening in Milan for our most recent trip there ! The food was delicious and made all the more enjoyable by the 5 Star service we received from our waiter, Giuseppe ! Looking forward to returning on our next time in Milan!
