Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. This was my second visit in just a few days, and the second time was far better than the first. Perhaps our first visit -- on a busy weekend night -- found the kitchen a bit overwhelmed. Last night was a quieter evening in the restaurant, and the food was cooked to perfection.

We ate outside which is why I said the noise level was quiet. I suspect that inside is not so quiet. The food was very good overall and the service was attentive.

While they were short servers, the one we had (Gabriel) did a great job taking care of us. He was very pleasant despite how busy he was and got our orders perfect. We felt sorry for him but he didn’t seem too bothered how busy he was as he always had a smile on his face. They even had the hostess and manager pitching in to keep things going. And the food was very good and everyone in our group of six was very satisfied.
