An Italian restaurant hidden in the bluestone basement of the State Library of Victoria, beneath the Wheeler Centre. Since 2011, owners Paul and Rosie have served handmade pasta, our signature Thousand Layer Lasagne (beef shin ragù, hot three-cheese mousse) and classic tiramisù, with a wine list that leans Italian and Victorian. People love the service, the ambience and the offerings. Lunch Wed–Fri with a $20 pasta special, Gnocchi Night every Wednesday, happy hour Tue–Sat 4–6pm. We had a wonderful dinner experience. The service was exceptional from the greeting at the door to goodbyes and everything in between. The quantity of food was just right and timing between courses perfect. The flavours of the menu were absolutely awesome with not one dish disappointing. Also the wine list had some serious gems available. We can only describe this dinner as WOW!!

Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Definitely worth a visit — would happily come back again!
