Ethnic influences are apparent throughout a menu filled with new interpretations on traditional fare. The raw bar offers an extensive variety of bi-coastal oysters and shellfish.In it’s freshman year, 1999, Max’s Oyster Bar was awarded “Best New Restaurant” by Connecticut Magazine. Then you’ll find the Peacock Dining Room and the Locket Private Dining Room separated by a screen wall of antique frames. Each of these rooms are inspired by the delicate yet glamorous details of jewelry. The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course with unique shareable dishes and twists on classic cocktails. Market Grille in Manchester, Connecticut is a nice combination between an upscale eatery and a casual restaurant. The menu is mostly modern American cuisine, but there is also an extensive wine and beer list.The four-cheese lasagna at Market Grille is very good.
