Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

When Movida opened in 2003 no one knew what to expect with this little bar on a graffiti covered cobbled lane serving Spanish tapas and shared plates in a down lit room playing funky tunes. Ten years on and the original restaurant is still going strong.

We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season. For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'.     We shared six small plates between two. The food was super delicious, the service was quick and we had plenty of time to eat before our show at the Princess Theatre commenced. I would definitely recommend Kiss & Tell!

    Couldn’t decide what to eat so we got the chef’s selection and it was amazing! Really hard to choose a favourite dish but the steak was beautiful and the garlic prawns had the best sauce I’ve had in a long time. Awesome, attentive service and amazing cocktails too!
