Very pleasant hosts, good food choice and tasty food.

Food was excellent. Services was outstanding. Only complaint was that our meals came individually rather than at the same time

Great service, price and quality. Rice and sail have a nice atmosphere with good service and food quality. Staff are very accommodating and helpful, also very knowledgeable with the foods on offer, will be back again.

We had a really great meal at the Chequers pub. There were three of us plus dog. One of our party had a food tolerance issue and the staff were really good about checking whether the person's choice of meal could be an issue (it wasn't, so that was good). The dog got made a fuss of too. The only oddity was that the place felt really empty for a Thursday evening, which was a shame as the food and drink is great. Not something the staff can necessarily do a lot about, but it did feel quite lonely, and no general background music we could hear. 🤷
