Here are the White Horse Inn @ Woolley Moor, we don’t make a song and dance about our menus as we believe that the food should just speak for itself. We have a great chefs who make the most of all the fabulous produce that the local area has to offer.Where possible we always look to source locally from the Peak District and Derbyshire making the most of seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as locally reared meat and locally produced dairy. We follow the seasons closely to offer food that is fresh and appropriate to the time of year, providing full flavours that will satisfy the heartiest appetite.In addition to our regular menus, we also offer a specials board that changes on a regular basis, featuring an extra selection of starters, main courses, and desserts.     A good evening - if I could alter one thing it would be the loudness of the music - background music is okay when there are a few people dining but when the restaurant is busy unnecessary. .

    We needed a table that we could book for 8, then 9 people on the day in Derby city centre for 6.15 pm! The venue very kindly did not insist on deposits even though we increased the numbers. We had friends coming on foot, by car, train and Uber. The whole experience was very comfortable for a chilly rainy evening in October, lovely service, cocktails and food! The special dish was Zebra which is both unique and unusual. That raised a lot of interest. Recommend the beef dripping chunky chips! Thank you very much, we had a lovely evening with our friends.
