Chris and Roxie Nikolakos are the dynamic duo behind Yamas Greek Kitchen and Bar, your beloved culinary destination nestled in the heart of Austin, Texas.Coming from families that have always placed immense value on communal dining and the binding power of food, Chris and Roxie sought to extend this ethos into their own establishment. They dreamt of creating a place that felt less like a restaurant and more like their own home.At the heart of their vision is the quintessential Greek concept of 'kefi' - an untranslatable word that essentially represents the spirit of joy, enthusiasm, high spirits, and positive vibes. Chris and Roxie's passion for kefi is reflected in every aspect of Yamas. From the passionate waitstaff and kitchen team, carefully selected ingredients, vibrant dishes, to the warm and inviting environment, it's evident that Yamas is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience steeped in Greek tradition.

Lucky Robot is the first sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans. Our kitchen is lead by two time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America. Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the first in Texas. Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavor. For parties of six or more, please see our Large Party Information under Contact at our website (https://www.luckyrobotatx.com/). Please note: Last seating for Omakase Experiences are 30 minutes prior to close

My daughter and I attended the Sunday Drag Queen Brunch. The performers put on a great show and we enjoyed ourselves. Drink specials (Honey Bears are strong!) included Aeperol Spritz and Mimosa pitchers. Taco Truck provided delicious food. Bring lots of $1 bills!
