   Really really loud. We are yelling at each other to hold a conversation, our server Brei was great but the food-all of it-was late, they were understaffed for a Monday night for sure and it was packed and soooo loud! My shrimp and grits were undercooked and I had to send it back, the food didn’t arrive on time together. It wasn’t her fault, it was the kitchen..:

   A simple, but amazing dining experience!! We started with the obvious choice of biscuits OMG YOU MUST GET!!! with butter, strawberry preserves and the most excellent honey ever. My wife and I had the salmon and pork tenderloin special, which were both cooked to perfection with mouth watering flavors and the addition of the broccolini with blue cheese fondue. To say there was no room for dessert was an understatement, but it was worth ever morsel. Thank you to Moses for superb friendly service for my birthday as well as the mixologists who crafted equally wonderful bourbon cocktails to compliment our dishes. We would definitely go back.

   biscuits and iced tea were amazing. margarita was good. entrees we’re disappointing. chicken was under seasoned and the pork sandwich had a ton of fat. will come back for the biscuits but not for entrees.

    Delicious fried chicken, but the biscuits were the best I’ve ever had! So light and delicious. The only downside on the food was the baked beans, they had a weird texture because they were really baked peas. Skip those and save room for all the other delicious items on the menu. Shrimp and grits appetizer was great. The lobster pot pie was incredible as well. Will definitely go back for the biscuits alone!

    The biscuits were good, the Louisiana catfish was just terribly bland. My server did remove it from the bill. I was given a chocolate martini for my birthday. She gets 5 stars, the food not worth the price.

    Fixe has always been must for celebrating and general evening out experiences and it is safe to say it has continued to be that place for us for years now. The amount of care that is put into the service and food is wonderful and the time they took to be thoughtful about the special occasion we dined in for was noticeable and very appreciated. We will be back in no time.

    Perhaps the best food I've ever tasted, from the biscuit, shrimp & grits we had for starters followed by the fried chicken. This isn't your Granny's fried chicken. Oh and leave room for dessert!

    My husband and I wanted to try a new spot and I am so glad that we chose Fixe. We went for my birthday brunch and the ambiance and decor was beautiful. More importantly the drinks were great and the food was all delicious. Definitely recommend the breakfast sandwiches and the duck fat potatoes, yum! The customer service and attention to detail blew me away. I received a personalized card and dessert for my birthday. Can’t wait to come back here to enjoy another meal!

    Our meal was absolutely on point! The biscuits are a must try to kick off the meal! I ordered the 22oz Ribeye and my friend had the pot pie and shared Brussel sprouts. Our food was delicious! I didn’t care for the fondue because it lacked flavor but the steak was perfect all on its own. Our server was simply lovely and incredibly attentive!

    We went as a group of 8 to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The appetizers (especially the biscuits and hush puppies), entrées, and cocktails were fantastic. Service was also fast, and the ambience was great.

    The fried chicken was outstanding and even though my husband’s pork chop was overcooked, they immediately took it back and recooked a pork chop to medium rare. The service was excellent- we probably will go back since we are in Austin until Sunday,

    It was a great experience and beautifully decorated. I think the only thing I wish I have known or stressed more is parking. Since I did not know exactly where to park and no one was at the valet location when I arrived. Still an amazing dinner and just know the biscuits are not vegetarian before going so you aren’t surprised by the waiter.
