Frevo at Fairmont the Palm is a beachside restaurant that serves authentic Brazilian cuisine. The restaurant's sophisticated dining areas provide traditional churrascaria-style meals. Guests can choose to be seated indoors or outside on the patio. Frevo is also equipped with a big screen TV that airs football and other major sports events. Try the restaurant's Espeto tableside service which offers prime cuts of South Brazilian-style skewered meats. Choose from options like beef bacon wrapped chicken, black mustard smoked tri tip, beer chicken wings and more. The menu at Frevo also offers a wide variety of appetizers, exotic salads and signature cachaça cocktails. Enjoy an order of cheese bread served with honey infused butter or Paulista soup made with potato, sweet potato, carrot, beef cubes and red and white beans.

At the Fairmont Hotel, Palm Jumeriah, Brazilian Churrascaria is at its best, and never tasted so good. I knew that I was in the mood for a Brazilian Steakhouse, and as normal opentable delivered. The name of the restaurant is called Frevo, and let me tell you, that it now tops the list of the best Churrasco style restaurants I have ever eaten. I tried Fogo de Chow in Atlanta, and Brasa in Niagara, Canada, but it is the subtle differences in the end that make all the differences in the world. When I was seated, as normal, the server explained how the meal would proceed, as Churrascaria is a new style that not everyone is familiar with yet. A pretty dull place with no atmosphere. Poorly designed with small windows and limited views. No style or flair despite attentive staff who tried hard. Very limited and expensive wine list. Some customers looked like they were dressed to put the rubbish out and had no respect for dress codes. Although this place is walking distance from home we will never return.
