Dauphine’s, a restaurant inspired by the playful spirit and iconic cuisine of New Orleans is led by Chef Kristen Essig, who called the city home for over two decades. The Dauphine’s menu pays homage to the diverse cultural influences and rich culinary traditions of New Orleans while utilizing Mid-Atlantic ingredients. The beverage program is developed in partnership with New Orleans native Neal Bodenheimer – owner of Cure, the 2018 James Beard Foundation Award winner for Outstanding Bar Program – and offers a menu of both classics and innovative riffs. The expansive indoor dining features a large sunken dining room anchored by a custom raw bar and wood charcuterie case, a wrought-iron pavilion linking the bar and dining, and an intimate mezzanine with private dining. Bookend by two outdoor spaces, Dauphine's features a 30 seat outdoor bar with a custom New Orleans-inspired tiled fountain and a separate covered dining patio for 80 guests.

We are a very casual cafe, lounge, liquor, beer and wine bar as well as a coffeehouse and smoothie bar. We serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snacks and a huge selection of desserts. We have a lounge area, outside cafe, strong take-out presence and free wi-fi. We offer a diverse, simple and inexpensive menu; from breakfast all day to Sandwiches, Salads and Pizza all day and night and a dinner selection that kicks in at 5 PM. Wheelchair and Handicap accessible. We accommodate most common food allergies. Happy Hour is available every day from 3-7 PM at the bar and lounge and weekdays on the patio from 4-6 PM. We are no longer taking reservations for outdoor seating. Previously made reservations for the patio will be honored, but moving forward outdoor seating will be on a first come first served basis only.
