   Service on drink orders were very poor with the last orders being incomplete meaning it was at least 35-40 mins from originally ordering to when my daughters mocktail was served to the table. Food was great and staff were great though!

   Ordered pint of Guinness(on St Patrick’s day) which took 45mins to arrive at my table by that time the starter had been finished and the pint of Guinness had came from a can and was hot, was charged almost £8 for it. The meal had been ruined by that point so it’s hard to comment of the food

    Food was ok. I had the same meal in London last month and the London one was much better. I didn’t eat the pulled pork and it was too soft and the sauce watery.

    The Apple cobbler pudding was not nice, the crumble part was too hard and clumps, there was a cream through the middle which really put me off it too

    The brisket special was very dry cubes of beef with a sauce over the top, hardly met the description. Otherwise, classic HRC experience.

    Terrible atmosphere shoved in like cattle, hardly any room to move, left after 2 minutes very uncomfortable environment. Hard rock n Edinburgh much better atmosphere.

    I thought it was a bit of a squeeze to fit 4 people on the tables. Our table also wobbled and the waitress said she would return to fix but it never happened so I sorted it myself. I also asked a waitress if there was a fire escape open that the staff use close to where I was sitting as there was a smell of cigarette smoke coming in from the kitchen area. She said yes and would pass this onto them to stop.

    Fantastic ambience, fantastic service and fantastic food! Loved every minute of it and the staff went over and beyond to make my daughter feel special for her birthday meal, to the extent she was mortified which was a treat for me! 😂😂 Will visit again!

    Went here pre theatre with disabled son and other kids (adult) - I am a veggie but there was very very little for me, no veggie burgers or similar. This is 2023!! What’s going on? Wouldn’t choose to go again - service was great though!

    Booked to come here for my boyfriends birthday. He’d never been so the whole experience was new for him. He loved the music and the decor. The food was brilliant. And I can’t fault the staff at all. I have an unusual allergy to fresh tomatoes and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my food was never in contact with tomatoes, even to the extent of having my drink my and brought over by the person who made it to avoid cross contamination down all routes! Absolutely brilliant service especially from Sammie! She was lovely 😁 will definitely return

    The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly, they really make the effort to make your experience good. The music is perfect for atmosphere as is all the decor. I would highly recommend the hard Rock Cafe to anyone

    Loved the food and service was good just one complaint On your site it’s showing kid’s colour and activity sheets but asked a couple of times if they had any as I had my grandchildren with me but no one got back to me My grandchildren were disappointed

    Our table was booked for 3pm, we ordered within 20 mins of seating. At 4.20pm the waiter came to tell us our order had disappeared from the screen and not made it to the kitchen and that he would reorder it now, he had to ask us again what we wanted. At this point we had been sitting with empty glasses for quite a while. I appreciate it was busy but no one was asking if we wanted more drinks. We ordered more drinks at this point and waited about another 20 mins for drinks and longer for our food to come. By now we had to rush eating as we had to get back home to our dog to let him out. When The waiter brought the bill he showed my daughter how to leave a tip by saying ‘unless you’re a horrible person and don’t want to leave one’ which I know was a joke, but she felt pressured to leave one, and under the circumstances of the mix up with our food, I didn’t think a tip was warranted. Not even a free drink offered while we waited an hour and 40 mins for food. I have been here several times and the service is always excellent. I know this is a one off and that accidents do happen, but it was not an enjoyable experience on this occasion.

    Jill was excellent as our server, with plenty of useful tips on portions and what she recommended. Food was spot on, very tasty, just couldn’t eat it all! Love the atmosphere!

    John aka DAD, was great with the whole table, especially our son, he was comedy gold. Always attentive to the table aswell, at the same time gave you peace to eat your food, without feeling rushed.

    Fire time there. Manager told asked us about allergies (to which I have one), and that definitely one dish contains my allergen but the server would go into more detail. Server came and didn’t ask about allergies until after I had ordered, and told me nothing in the kitchen would be an issue (not what the manager said). Specifically ordered no onions, burger arrived loaded with onions. No waiting staff on the floor for about 15mins and had to leave my table to go to the bar to order my own drink. Eventually when the server came to take the plates away I told her about the onion, which she was shocked as she had written it on the order. She took my burger off the bill which was great. Overall, visually place is excellent, food seemed good from what I ate, but service let it down hugely.

    Very good service was my boyfriends 21st and they suprised us with singing happy birthday and and ice cream. The waiters couldn’t do more to make us happy was a great night.
