The food was incredible, service was faultless, atmosphere was great but it was quite noisy.
Brilliant evening to celebrate my birthday. Excellent food & lovely fast & efficient staff & service. Thanks for surprise birthday pud. What a treat.
Great food but not for a nice dinner. Just a city dinner as just too much acoustic noise
Fantastic evening, with amazing food.
I have recommended Hawksmoor to so many of my friends and family.
We will definitely be booking for next Xmas.
It was fantastic!
The steak and wine was so delicious.
Prime Ribが食べたかったが、750グラムからで、一人で行ったので断念。Rib eyeにして、ジューシーな良い肉だった。
We went there for the steaks. My guests ordered ribeyes and these were cooked to their request. I ordered a sirloin 'saignant'. This arrived medium, not even medium rare. You can't send a steak back when you are entertaining business guests. I should have done so otherwise. Noise level does require careful attention to speech here too. Hawksmoor packs in a good number of covers and as in the past I found the sound level, unmoderated by the fittings and floor, challenging to any decent conversation.
One of the best breakfasts in London. Good choice on the menu; great quality food; and good coffee!
This was the best steak I have had for a long time - and the chocolate dessert (Ambassador's Reception) was amazing!
Always amazing - food, staff, atmosphere are exceptional!
Excellent, as always , the best steaks available in London.
The service and food were wonderful.
Excellent service from all the staff. Especially our server. Really made the evening.
Great Ambiance, Great Food, a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Looking to come back with Family and friends.
Family of Four- Full English breakfast Thanksgiving Morning. Superb food. Great Service. Pretty pricy for breakfast, but worth it for a special occasion.
Pros: food was fantastic, cooked perfectly
Very, very, noisy
Long wait times for food
Meat prices are eye watering £40-£60+ for just the meat and no sides
Charging for sides is just criminal
Charging £25 corkage per bottle is also criminal. Glass of average wine £10+
I haven't had a T-bone since they were banned in the 80s! It was excellent! A lot of tables are crammed in so the noise builds up. The service was excellent and the highlight of the restaurant.
Excellent and attentive service, noticed y companion had opened a birthday card and at conclusion of meal brought out complimentary chocolates on a plate with happy birthday written upon, they did not need to do that but lovely touch. The full English breakfast was huge and delicious.
Hawksmoor Guildhall is the only Hawksmoor branch which serves their incredible breakfast menu. I don't work in the area, so I had to take a day off in order to experience the incredible sharing breakfast for two, and, man, was it worth it. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch (the smoked bacon chop and trotter baked beans were my favourite part of the meal) and the wild rooibos tea I had to wash everything down was lovely.
Staff were friendly and attentive, and corrected an error on the bill graciously and with no fuss. While I prefer the ambience of the Spitalfields and Seven Dials Hawksmoor restaurants over the Guildhall - perhaps more to do with the customer make-up (unsurprising given the neighbourhood) than anything to do with the restaurant itself - I wouldn't hesitate to return.
Meal booked for 6 of us on a Friday night. No rush to get us to finish our meal within 2 hours which is refreshing! Amazing food as always and fantastic service.
Great service from the waiter. Very attentive. Food great as usual but gets a little noisy sometimes when full.
Reception, service and food all excellent.
Staff clothing too casual and a little off putting for the surroundings.
Really too noisy to enjoy. A real shame as the food was fabulous. Will go to other branches.
Hands down the best steak house in London!!!
As promised I was given a 'complimentary steak' in view of my last experience at Guildhall, although I did have to remind the waiter of this. I'm not convinced the steak I was presented with was in fact the rib eye I ordered - more like rump. It was however perfectly cooked. The other elements of the meal including those of my companion were also very well cooked and presented. Noise levels in the main dining area were very loud - we retreated to the bar area.
Best restaurant in London with the best staff on the planet.
Great food, excellent service, superb assistance with wine choice. Great place to visit for our anniversary meal!
My fav restaurant for sure! The food is always amazing but the staff and service make it every time!
Great feed, great service.
Unfortunately there was a diner dressed in "sweaty betty" gym gear... I'm afraid it's not acceptable dress code to any restaurant especially not at a restaurant where diners pay £47 for a standard bottle of wine and are expected to pay about £400+ on their total bill. Perhaps Pizza Express allows this dress code but this should not be allowed at Hawksmoor. We entertain clients here and it's simply not acceptable. (and dress code should be checked by reception and waiting staff)
Fantastic food and excellent service. Great business lunch.
Excellent steak. We were able to book at short notice
Very noisy. Staff is really good. But steak is disappointing
Excellent as always. Selected a beer that was supposed to be hoppy from menu but was like grapefruit juice!!!! Changed it no problem.
The Hawksmoor breakfast is definitely something to enjoy. Great food, good service and an excellent City ambience to experience. Meat lovers only. The bacon, sausages and baked beans are so good. Then the bone marrow. Gosh its great. Just go and enjoy.
Excellent and friendly service. Great food. Quite noisey so I would make a request for a quiet table if you want a peaceful dinner otherwise its very hard to fault!
This restaurant is superb credit to Hawkesmoor
Efficiently run and steaks to die for!
I will continue to dine there often
Legendary breakfast, great service. Lives up to the hype. Anti-fogmatic sets you up for the day nicely.
Fantastic food and drink, only problem was it was incredibly loud.
