Over dit restaurant

Juweeltje in de wijk
Goed voor speciale gelegenheden
Geweldig voor happy hour

Here at Hot Tuna, our food is 5-star, but our dress code is surfer chic. Hot Tuna is a member of the Farm-to-Fork Movement; our menu features what is fresh, in-season and local. Eastern Shore seafood and produce from our local farms are staples, and our menu runs the gamut, from the freshest Ahi tuna to gourmet gouda burgers. Our bartenders are as adventurous as our chefs, providing you with hand-muddled mojitos, homemade sangria and organic margaritas. We hope you enjoy your dining experience with us!

We have been going to Tuna for many years. Never disappointed. Food and service are always on point. Can be noisy on Friday and Saturday night. Best to have reservations.

My family and I were on vacation, our first time to Virginia Beach. The restaurant was highly recommended by some people at the hotel we were staying at. We looked at the menu on the website and there was something that everyone in my family would eat (age ranges from 10 to 50) fish lovers and not. Great presentation of the food on the plate, temperature appropriate for each dish, tasted very fresh with great flavors, and everyone loved their dish! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I saw multiple people helping each other out to make things run smooth and efficient. The ambience was fantastic and price for each plate was appropriate for what was ordered. When we are in town again, Hot Tuna will be on my list to eat at again!

Not my favorite place. Food wasn’t good. Everything tasted like it was missing something.

Alexandria, we would love to know what we can improve upon. We typically receive high praise on our food, so we would love to know where we missed the mark!

The food was okay but pretty pricey for what you got. They don't really have very many sides unless you pay for the super expensive sides. I wanted to get rice and a vegetable and all they had was some kind of succotash. I asked them for double rice and they told me it would be three more dollars. My dinner companions didn't finish theirs either because it just was not fantastic.

Hi Michael, I am sad to hear we missed the mark on some of our most highly reviewed menu items. I hope you'll come back soon and give a chance to impress you. Have a great week!
