Liberty Kitchen & Oysterette (LKRO) prides itself in it’s Oyster Bar. The multiple use seating at and around the Oysterette is inviting and friendly. The huge oyster, fresh seafood and whole fish display showcases seasonality and the vastness of the seafood offerings at LKRO. A traditional Japanese Robata Grill and a vertical 'Trompo' Grill are part of the Oysterette’s flexibility in a small space making the 'mini-kitchen' capable of producing freshly shucked oysters, grilled oysters, sushi, seafood towers and fresh carved tacos.Moving into the main kitchen, the menu is just as wide and deep with a variety of local and regional seafood dishes and local Texas Beef. Our desire, as always, is to have a little something delicious for everyone and a menu for every palate as well as daily and weekly special features inspired by the bounty of available produce, meats and seafood in the Gulf Coast and beyond.
Well known and loved for gulf fish, wild game, steaks and chops, Rainbow Lodge features lunch, dinner & Sunday brunch. Owner Donnette Hansen's attention to detail is reflected in everything from the comfortable log cabin setting & landscaped grounds to the seasonally changing menus. Insider's tip: go for the business lunch ($15 for three courses). Sophisticated but not stuffy! Menu hits include elk chops, grilled buffalo tenderloin, Lodge smoked duck gumbo. Veteran chefs prepare gulf fish, wild boar, duck, quail, elk and beef. With 3,000 square feet of kitchen gardens, the Lodge grows vegetables and herbs to complete special dishes. Brunch enthusiasts enjoy casual patio dining with $2 mimosas. Sunday Suppers feature half price wines by the glass. Live Music Fridays in the bar.
