J. Alexander’s is a contemporary American restaurant, known for its wood-fired cuisine. Our core philosophy is to provide you with the highest possible quality dining experience. The menu features a wide selection of American classics including prime rib of beef, steaks, fresh seafood, sandwiches and entrée salads. The menu in each restaurant includes a varied and rotating selection of features like Seafood Czarina, Tuscan Steak, Grilled Fish with Mango Papaya Salsa and Chicken Milanese. The restaurant has a full-service bar that includes an outstanding selection of wines both by the glass and bottle. Offering an eclectic brunch menu on Sundays between 10:30am – 2:00pm with both classic and unique selections such as Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Belgian Waffles, Lemon & Ricotta Hotcakes, Omelets, Quiche & Huevos Ranchero

A Friday 7pm dinner for 8 adults Should not take over 20 min after Ordering drinks to arrive. Had to ask For water just to get something. Was annoyed by water dripping from above from pipes over our seating area. The food did not arrive at one time so some had to wait while others Felt awkward starting to eat.

We had reservations and were on time. We were seated promptly. We have eaten here many times and the prime rib very good and rarely does it disappoint. The soups, salads and sides are great no matter what you choose. The mac n cheese is a favorite as well as the green beans. If you like crab cakes, these are very good as they use lump crab rather than bread crumbs with a little crab mixed in. Had the pork loin on this visit. The portion was very generous but overall the dish disappointed. The sweetness overpowered the pork and although it was prepared correctly and very tender, it just didn't fit my taste buds. The filet and two prime rib portions at our table were fantastic as usual. Service was adequate but not as attentive as we have had in the past. Drink and wine service was on the slow side. Once we paid the bill, we were ignored and had to go to the bar to get an after dinner drink even though the restaurant was no longer busy. But Overall, it was great and still is one of our favorite places to dine.

Excellent meal! We split a New York Strip steak and added a side. It was our anniversary so they had "Happy Anniversary" on the daily specials card, AND we were given a free dessert of the most incredible Carrot Cake imaginable! Stephanie was wonderful! All around great experience!

Service could have been better. We waited awhile for drinks, our server, etc. I was expecting more based upon the reviews.

Wonderful food! Had the Cesar salad. Just enough dressing - not overdone. Had a seafood pasta dinner that was amazing. Very nice wine selection. First time here but we will be back.
