Pumpkin season is officially taking over @konagrill! 🎃🍂 I got a sneak peek at Kona Grill’s new Welcome Back Pumpkin menu before it officially launches September 8. We tried the Pumpkin Spice Margarita, Grilled Pumpkin & Ricotta Bruschetta, Prosciutto & Roasted Pumpkin Flatbread, Lobster Mushroom Pumpkin Ravioli, Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger with pumpkin chutney, Sweet Potato Casserole and, of course, Pumpkin Pie to finish it off. Some combinations I definitely wasn’t expecting, but that’s what made this menu so fun to try! Night out with the hubster @konagrill Choose a starter & 2 main courses from their special Night Out menu, which also includes 2 glasses of bubbly or try one of their house wines; Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, as well as a fat slice of NY Cheesecake to share. All for only $39 per person, available Sundays through Thursdays. We went with our server’s recommendations, shout out to Brandon (You’re amazing!)… Ribeye Meatballs with shallots, shiitake mushrooms, macadamia nuts, chili glaze, creamy peppercorn sauce, atop whipped potatoes Kona Calamari with blistered shishito peppers & spicy motoyaki dipping sauce Big Island Ribeye, grilled & seasoned to perfection topped with island butter & the served alongside the most amazing crispy garlic fingerling potatoes 🫠🫠🫠 Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon, served with fried rice Something about their grilled salmon here…always has the most satisfying, crispy edges on the filet, so flaky and moist, never fishy or dry, flavorful & a favorite for our family. One of us usually ends up ordering it when we come here. We love that @konagrill is so family friendly. We can enjoy a little date night with our son, where he enjoys a special bento that he can create himself from the choices they offer. Their kids meals come with a drink, as well as dessert! The cheesecake was so yummy with their raspberry sauce and a sweet end to a lovely evening. Our son opted for the brownie sundae that was topped with hot fudge and huge chunks of fudgy & chewy brownies.
