We enjoyed our first experience with Kona Grill. The food service were very good. The management team stopped by our table and engaged us which was nice. We will be back.

We did restaurant week and I had the prime rib and it was absolutely horrible! The prime rib and mashed potatoes were so salty I couldn’t even eat it.
I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your prime rib dinner and that the mashed potatoes were too salty. I appreciate you letting us know so that we can speak with Chef and make adjustments. I hope you spoke with either of the two manager assisting with table service and we could get you a replacement side item. We are always here to help.

we couldn't get kids menus. But then there weren't chicken tenders on the main menu.

Really slow service. An hour before we got our food. One of the two meals was missed, and nobody checked on it or us for quite awhile. Two tables that were seated after us got there food before us. It's not like pad thai noodles and a roll take long to make. In the hour plus we were there we got one glass of water and one drink order.

Take reservations; prompt service; very nice environment; good food and beverage selection; excellent quality; overall very nice place to go and we go multiple times per month.

Poor service, wrong order, delivering food no utensils etc it was a circus. The manager came over, and no comp effort made. Sad.

Everything was severely overpriced. An 8-piece sushi roll for $20? So not worth it.

The server forgot my order. The manager did the right thing and provided a free app and my main course for free. I don’t know why you call a steak the Big Island Ribeye when it taste like a normal steak. Does anyone remember the real Big Island Ribeye—pineapple, teriyaki, mmmm?
The food is great. I liked everything. We go there often a d we will go back.

Kona Grill did not disappoint…the food was great and the service attentive. It was a Friday night so it was extremely noisy, which can be expected. I was surprised at the prices for appetizers…our appetizer was more than our entree! And, on a sad note, even though I noted in our reservation it was our anniversary, there was no mention.
We love Kona Grill and will return…maybe during the week!

While I understand COVID impacts on businesses makes staffing tough, was really disappointed with the experience. Bathrooms were a mess, sinks plugged and trash everywhere. Restaurant needs a cleaning as floors and tables were less than clean. Pad Thai was with angel hair pasta and food taste just so so. Not sure I’d make this a go to place again unfortunately.
Brandon14, I apologize for the troubles on your recent visit to Kona Grill Eden Prairie. I appreciate your grace and understanding of the challenges we are currently facing, but we make no excuses. We should be clean and tidy in the restrooms and dining room at all times. The plumber has already fixed the sink, so we are good there. And we are working with our vendor to get the preferred noodle back in stock for the Pad Thai. We hope to see you again with a much better result.
Waitress hardly checked on us and our food came out before our drinks did. Food was mediocre.

Loved the chopped salad with salmon added. There aren't a lot of gluten free choices, which I wish there were. However, the salad was great. Our server was great as well. Thank you.

Great server. Food was excellent. The originally sat us on the bar side, but noisy and uncomfortable seats. Asked to be moved, and they did so without hesitation.

There was an issue with all of our meals: fried requested without shrimp due to allergies came out with shrimp; sea bass requested with green beans instead of bok choy but came out with bok choy; surf pasta dish with shrimp had no shrimp. When the beans came out, they were almost raw; shrimp for the pasta was bland and almost raw; rice was never corrected even after repeated requests. We were promptly given our bill for the full cost. Very disappointing. Not even an apology for all the mistakes.

Loved the surf and turf - select your favorite sushi and a wonderful filet with sides. And the kids bento box is such a great value and healthy options like salmon, beans, and edemame.

I had higher expectations than what we experienced, unfortunately. Food was ok, nothing great or fancy. Steak ordered medium came out rare and also missing the accompanying sushi roll that was part of the Surf and Turf. The mashed potatoes reminded me of grade school with its dome shape and lack luster taste. Lastly, 3 of our 4 meals were cold. Service was great though, very friendly and helpful. Happy hour menu was a good overall selection.

Really big thank you to the staff for letting us celebrate our friends’ birthdays freely and giving us a wonderful space in the patio room where we could be ourselves! Food was phenomenal and servers were fantastic! Coconut Shrimp roll is to die for!
Calamari and poke bowls were wonderful. Service was attentive and booth comfortable. Staff friendly and professional. Philly roll was enjoyed by my daughter (she asked for seconds) we are monthly visitors and enjoyed as takeout as well.
Kids meal was fantastic! All other meals were very good, but server seemed distracted and slow.

The food (mainly sushi) had great flavor and texture....top notch! Service was great too. We sat is in the Patio area for happy hour which is very casual. The noise was the only drawback. We could have sat in the main dining area but like the casual feel of the patio.
One of my favorite restaurants! The sushi is fresh and the drinks are creative.
