Gerry and Louise Forte opened La Trattoria in 1970 and since then, it has been run by the family.During the current Coronavirus outbreak there are restrictions in place, please read them on our website and make yourself aware of them.Despite the current situation, we are now open again and hope to welcome you soon.

Lovely meal. We were placed on a table by the door at first which I didn’t like, I asked to be moved and this they did to a lovely table. Food was great. We had Calamari then a Penne dish with chicken and an escalope of pork. Both very tasty. Need to book. Very busy. Many were turned away as no free tables.

As soon as they confirmed it was my partners birthday they were really accommodating. They set us up in a beautiful booth with a white canopy, almost like a fairytale. The food was quick, hot and extremely flavoursome. Throughout dinner they checked in on us and made sure we were happy. The decor, ambiance and lighting were perfect, making it such a great setting for a romantic date but also a birthday celebration.
