    This place is a real gem in Boise. The food is always terrific and the staff is attentive. If you're looking for something a bit different, give this place a go and don't be shy about trying the specials. Someone in my family always gets one of them and everyone else regrets not giving it a try.

    We had dinner once again here at Jakers this past week. And as always, the service and food were outstanding. You get good value for the money that you spend here and the food is excellent. If you don't like a lot of salt and pepper on your steak you need to tell the server upfront else depending on the chef, you could end up with a lot of pepper on the underside of the beef presented to you.
