salad bar was great and the meat really outstanding. Highly recommendable. We got the chance to watch the grill.

The restaurant was highly rated by all the services that I could find, as I was looking for a "good" Ecuadorian restaurant in Quito. Not surprisingly, Somos was as good as people said it was, and I was delighted to have been able to dine there. The food was thoughtfully prepared, with delicate flavors in all the dishes I tried: a goat empanada (the Riobambeña), the ceviche Manicero and the grilled Japanese eggplant ratatouille with the cassava pita. Each was beautifully plated and presented. Eating solo is often a problem in terms of how much to order, but if I were dining otherwise, the tasting menu that the two adjoining tables to mine had ordered looked equally good and they too were very pleased with their dinners as well. Service was excellent, helpful and caring, without being obsequious. Although the restaurant was full, I never felt rushed nor was I overwhelmed with ambient noise. Somos was an excellent choice for my "special" dinner in Quito. I would be interested in dining at Alejandra Espinoza's other restaurant, Cotoa, if/when I ever get to Miami again. Enjoy.

Nine of us joined together for a dining experience at Restaurant Ines, as we were staying at the hotel with an early departure the next day, it made sense to “dine In”. We were seated at a large table in a lovely space, service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food choice, fresh, cooked to order, most of us ordered the fish special and loved it! We ordered desserts to share which were wonderful. The wine list was interesting and we enjoyed a few bottles! All in all A wonderful experience!
